15 Month Check-up

The girls went for their well baby visit yesterday, the results are in!!

Carolyn: 21 pounds 13.5 ounces, 30.5 inches tall, 4 teeth with 3 more on their way

Danielle: 22 pounds .5 ounces, 30.5 inches tall, 6 teeth with a few more on the way

To compare, at 15 months Nathan was 25 pounds 12.5 ounces and 33.75 inches tall, he had about 10 teeth.

Danielle walks, runs, dances, waves bye-bye, and gives hi-fives. She also regularly says "tickle, tickle", "what's that?", "mama", and "dada"... I've also heard "hi" a few times now. Grandma and Kathy claim they heard a "Carolyn" yesterday, but I haven't heard it yet. We also get tons of hugs and kisses from the always smiley girl. She is becoming very social and can't wait to go play at church on Sundays. I'm not sure who's baby she is because she sure doesn't act like the other two at all :)

Carolyn walks, bounces (her dancing), claps her hands, and gives hi-fives. She does a lot of squealing and screeching, but no real words other than "mama" and "dada". She loves to "sing" to music and is also very interested in her Baby Einstein videos, sometimes sitting perfectly still for the entire show. Carolyn loves her bears and gives kisses on the mouth to Mommy, but only when she feels like it. She cries as soon as we get to the nursery at church, but has decided that snacks and videos make the hour bearable :) Sometimes it's a little scary how much Carolyn is just like Nathan at this age. She's very reserved and has been clingy for the past six months. Good thing she likes her Grandmas or Mommy would never get away!

More comparisons: Nathan's first word, "giraffe", came at about 15 months. Danielle gives kisses to Carolyn, but Carolyn does not kiss back!

Wow, they sure are growing fast! We need to get the girls together soon. Danica misses her twin buddies. :-)
