Sea World adventure

I guess it's finally time to blog about our trip. I think I just needed a few days to process the trip and get back to "normal". We had a great time in San Diego, the weather was perfect, the kids got to run around, Nathan saw sharks. But when I say "we", I mean the kids, who have no memory of the yelling or frustration that Jeremy and I remember so well! I think this was a lesson that we are not ready for a hotel room vacation yet. But as Jeremy says, "We'll never do this again at this age!" :) The good news, they are continually getting older. The bad news, so are we!

A rundown of Sea World:

Shark Experience- 4 times
Shamu "Believe"- 3 times
Wild Arctic experience - 1 that Nathan will never forget
Shipwreck Rapids- Once was enough for Mommy to get soaked and Daddy to watch from the dry bridge with the girls
Meltdowns- 500
Elmo sightings- 50 (if you count any pictures that Carolyn spotted)

All-in-all, a good trip. When Nathan woke up at home on Wednesday morning his first words were "Mommy, that was fun at Sea World!"

The drive out... before the window got stuck down!

Mission Beach

Returning the seaweed to the water

Icees on the beach (yes, it's 8 am)

Our evening visit to see Shamu

Waiting for a turn on Elmo ride

As Carolyn says, "More fish... swimming pool!"
